“SOLFUL”

the moniker was coined
back in 2017,
doubling as wordplay
of our last name, solis,
and of the word, “soulful”,
meaning “full of feeling or emotion”.

Solful Studios is a Filipino-American sister duo,
AK Solis and Nikki Solis,
specializing in wedding, event,
and brand marketing video production.
Established in 2017 and based in Southern California,
the sisters grew up in a world filled with music, song, dance, and artistry.

As first-generation Americans,
AK and Nikki were raised with the values of
respect, hard work, and kapwa—a Filipino concept rooted in our shared humanity
and sense of connectedness with one another.

From a young age, both sisters were immersed in
internationally recognized music, percussion, and choral organizations.
Years spent performing and competing around the world eventually
sparked a shared love for the visual arts and, most importantly, the art of storytelling.

After graduating from college and trying their hands at corporate careers,
the Solis sisters found their way back to what had always felt most natural:
creating, storytelling, and connecting with people.
Solful Studios became the place where all three could exist together.

Known for films that evoke a certain je ne sais quoi, Solful Studios blends
raw, cinematic moments with a strong, beat-driven backbone.
Their work is intentional, emotional, and deeply rooted in the
people and stories they are trusted to document.

As Margaret Atwood once said, “In the end, we’ll all become stories.”
